Parent Involvement

At Children’s Meeting House, parent involvement is really distinguished as a partnership.  Parents will always be the primary educators of their treasured children however, at CMH a home/school partnership is paramount in students educational journey.   Parents as partners are required to observe and attend Parent/Child Work Nights, fall and spring conferences and attend informative Parent Evenings.   Parents support the instructional day by volunteering as room parent, reading helpers, material preparation, and lunch helpers at the preprimary level.  Additionally parents are invited to chaperone on field trips and help with special events such as café day, field day and water day.

There are other ways to be involved at CMH, participation as homework checker in the 9-12 senior classroom, set-up or clean up for a special events or even supporting the longevity of the school by becoming a Board of Trustee or a committee member.  The CMH parent organization is titled PACT that stands for Parents Assisting Children and Teachers.

“PACT” is Children’s Meeting House’s version of a parent-teacher association. “PACT” stands for “Parents Assisting Children and Teachers”.
