Learning is continuous at Children’s Meeting House. From preschool age 3 to 6th grade, concrete objects provide deep understanding of abstract principles. Starting in our preschool program and continuing through elementary school, there is an integrated curriculum designed to parallel human development.
Children are recognized as unique individuals and their education is not restricted to lessons addressed to the whole class. They are given the ability to explore and excel, the responsibility to learn and teach, and the opportunity to collaborate and serve — ensuring their development into educated, virtuous young adults.
Our student’s progress in their Montessori journey is evaluated on many levels. Assessment and Testing in the Montessori Environment is viewed as just a part of the development of the whole child.
